I got my first telescope in November of 2002. It was a Meade 5" Newtonian EQ. The Astronomy bug got me bad, now I have 7 'scopes, the largest being a Meade 16" Starfinder Dobsonian. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada in very light-polluted skies. I'm fortunate to have met some great people that have introduced me to dark skies and since my start, I've learned volumes from them. Below are links that lead to pages that have pictures and reports from some of the places I have observed at with my telescopes. Of course, they get better as I continue to grow and become more experienced. (The latest report is towards the bottom of the page.)
I also have reviews for my telescopes and some pages with astropix that I've taken through them with my digital camera. My objective with Astrophotography is NOT to show the greatest pictures possible but to show pictures that are done with very modest equipment and minimal computerized enhancements: something the average person like me can afford to do.

Most of my pages have tons of pictures. I'll apologize now for the slow download times for dial-up users. I think you'll like the wait. Most pages take less then 1 minute to load for 28.8k modems. Turn your lights down and the pictures will look much better. Hold your cursor over each picture for more information about them: you may find hidden messages!
